Glock G27 40 S&W 3.43 Inch Black Nitrate Pistol - 9+1 Rounds - With its comfortable size and the proven benefits of the Glock family of pistols, the G27 is popular with police, both on and off duty. That's why many law enforcement agencies issue this subcompact pistol, chambered in .40 S&W, as their official backup handgun. Guns I also got a 9mm conversion barrel for it, so I can shoot 40 s&w or 9mm out of it, and it's a great gun for shooting or using as a shooting toy. If you are considering the G19, I would think about going with the G23 and the conversion barrel. This pistol can be converted to fire 4 different calibers (it comes in 40 s&w, you can get a 9mm or .357 conversion barrel, and you can also get a .22lr conversion kit for it). I like the grip on the Gen 4 better than the Gen 3. It feels more secure in the hand. The size of the 23 is perfect for carry - concealable, but big enough to absorb recoil and provide a visible long shot. I also like the idea of a .357 Sig conversion barrel. In my opinion, you can't beat a Glock.
I honestly use Glocks to despise them. They were boxy, heavy pistols that didn't fit my hand at all. My wife recently wanted one, we went to the store and she was watching the dealer put the gen 4 in my hand and it felt like a glove. After a bit of research I found out that they modeled the Gen 4 after the 1911 grip I love the 1911 but also love how much I can customize the Glock. So the 23 Gen 4 is probably the last gun I buy unless it breaks.

The first Glock I ever owned turned out to be my #1 handgun, fast, smooth and reliable. I have owned several semi autos from different manufacturers and this is by far the best vehicle I have shot. Going to spell with the spring kit and barrel, but even out of the box I get consistent 5 inch groups at 9-12 yards. Thanks
I bought a Gen 3 a few years ago. I still love guns. I'd like to get a Gen 4 one day, but haven't felt the need to do so yet. I loved taking it off duty when I was in law enforcement. Not too heavy and still has plenty of punch. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take it.
I love it I had a Gen 5 G19, a friend of mine convinced me to switch. Same exact size. Fits all my Glock 19 holsters with no issues. It can also shoot 9mm. I think it's great!
Tried the Glock 23 and immediately fell in love with it, great gun and feels different. I was expecting a lot of recoil but it's moderate for the caliber, it's a very good weapon. This is not my first Glock, I have had a G17, G19, G23, G30SF and G45 but my G23 is different.

I love the Glock store. So much video information and great service. I didn't buy my gun here. I am 12 miles from the Bud Lexington, KY gun store. It was my first and only gun. I bought it and never shot it for over 2 years. Too bad for me, then I retired and met my new friend. I changed the spring, it made a big difference. This Gluc23 is a gene 4. I put an XS scope on it. Now I like it, very fast on a target. It's bam and there you are. I put in a Blacklist barrel and Johnny Glock trigger. I dry fire a lot, it shows when I go to the range. There is a book called Hunting the Navy SEAL, by Chris Sajnog. I learned a lot about shooting. Chris Sajnog was a seal hunting instructor. Money well spent. You can't go wrong with this Glock 23. It does everything a handgun should do. Now you have to do your part and learn how to use it. Hope this helps CBH.
I bought a Glock 31 that is a Sig 357 caliber with magazines. I bought 2 more 357 sig magazines from the gun broker but the salesman said she didn't have the magazines so long story short, she went out and bought me (2) 40 caliber magazines and assured me they would work for the 357 pistol. will Then I bought a 40 ACP barrel. So now I had a Sig 357 pistol and a 40 ACP pistol with 3 magazines. So I bought a 9mm barrel conversion and (3) 9mm magazines, so with the purchase of one pistol and a few extras I now own 3 different caliber pistols. The Glock Rolls!!!!!! Next I get the 22LR conversion.
I bought my Glock 23 40 cal about 20 years ago from a dealer in Tulsa, Oklahoma! This firearm has never let me down. This is the best firearm I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I used it while on duty at two different police agencies. It's a solid weapon and I'm glad I own it! I had a Sig P 938 9mm, the trigger was absolutely horrible and I personally wasn't very accurate with it. I also have a 2 sig P238 in 380 auto again good gun but not very accurate. The frame was also thin, so my hand got a little tired after 100 rounds at the range. The Glock 27 is a better first choice. It's about the same size as the p938, so it's really compact. 2nd is 40 cal not 9mm, 3rd magazine is 9+1 vs 6+1 4th I can use a preloaded 15 round magazine at home so I don't waste time reloading. Best of all this gun is very accurate at 7 yards, I can put 15 rounds into a 3 inch circle, plus it doesn't tire my hand after 100 rounds. I bought a Glock G 27 Gen 3.
Lightweight, easy to hide. I highly recommend an extended magazine for your little finger, as my ring finger gets tired after the fourth round of the magazine. Might struggle less with the gen 4 w/+4 grip, which is my next investment.
